Richard is Managing Director at Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation and strategy consultancy. Headquartered in London and founded in 1996, Brand Finance is present in 20+ countries.
His expertise spans a variety of sectors including banking, telecoms, airlines, sport, media, food and more. He specialises in advising clients about using their brands to build, generate and protect value, from marketing, financial and tax perspectives. He was a member of the committee that wrote ISO 20671 on Brand Evaluation and is an expert in analysing and valuing brands.
He has acted as a spokesperson on a range of branding topics featuring on BBC, ITV, Reuters, Bloomberg and TRT World and lectured at universities and business schools, including London Business School, on topics surrounding brand valuation and management.
Richard has a BA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and became a member of CIM with Brand Finance.
