The Roadshow Returns: Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Paris

As Advertising Week Europe gears up for the fifth anniversary edition in London from 20 – 24 March, the event will first travel to four hand-picked cities across Europe for the second annual AW Roadshow.

The Roadshow, in partnership with SpotX, travels to each of the chosen cities for just one day from 17 – 26 January to bring renowned business leaders together for a taste of the content that takes the stage each year at the Advertising Week Europe event. Each selected city boasts a unique blend of the advertising, marketing and creative industries and some of the most desirable business markets in the world.

Given the dominance of social media, personalised data and new technologies in the industry throughout 2016, this year’s Roadshow will use “Marketing to Emotion” as the central theme to guide content throughout the various stops in each of the European host cities.

Marketers today are able to access people-based data and tie it together with innovations in new technologies – such as virtual and augmented reality – to create immersive experiences for the consumer. During the 2017 Roadshow, leading industry experts from across each host city will dive into how psychological data differs across cultures and how brands can, and are, utilising personalised data and new technologies.

All attendees of the Roadshow have the option to register for their Advertising Week Europe passes on site to receive an automatic pass upgrade and a 50% discount. Roadshow attendees who register for their passes after the Roadshow event can still receive a 50% discount.

The Host Cities

A city that has emerged as the creative front-runner for encouraging ideas from all disciplinary corners, Stockholm will be the first official stop of the Roadshow. Stockholm’s award-winning creative prowess continually seeks to outdo itself with emerging digital pioneers and changing agency models, making it among the most desirable creative markets in the world.

The second Roadshow stop returns to the vibrant city of Amsterdam, one of the most sought-after creative industries in the world. With a blend of enduring history, a small-city feel and after-work hours spent in cafes along the canals, Amsterdam makes for the ideal creative hub to find a healthy work-life balance.

New to the event, Hamburg is recognised as a city ripe with technology excellence and has been celebrated for its cultural verve and start-up business mentality. The masses of tech and media hubs setting up shop all throughout the city are a testament to the scope and reach of creative opportunity influencing the rest of the global market.

Finally, universally celebrated as one of the most culturally rich cities in the world, thanks to its role as a global influencer of art and creative craft that spans centuries, Paris acts as the fourth and final stop for the Roadshow event. Surrounded by museums, libraries and endless opportunity for creative outlet, Paris is widely acknowledged as a dynamic and innovative creative hub for industry minds far and wide.
